BOOK IN POUNDS AND BEAT THE EURO EXCHANGE RATE!

We know it¡¯s getting more expensive to go to France, so as you pay us in pounds, you won¡¯t suffer from the rather worrying euro exchange rate. As we¡¯re self-catering and you all travel by car, do what we do, and take a whole box full of groceries with you, all the basics like rice and pasta, which could be expensive over there. It goes without saying that obviously, wine and bread from the boulangerie still offer the best value in France, despite the exchange rate!

Our properties are available to rent separately, one for eleven and the other for six people, each with its own garden. However, we are getting increasing numbers of people who book both houses and holiday with other family members or friends in a bigger group. We¡¯ve had groups of six young couples, nine guys on a golf tour and a ¡®grannies¡¯ group¡¯ over the last two to three years as well! Both houses together can hold a family group of up to seventeen people in all, including children. Just as well we have the large farmhouse table and the kitchen table in the main house, so everyone can sit down to eat together.

  It¡¯s an area with a lot to discover - the landing beaches, seaside resorts like Deauville and Honfleur, the Bayeux tapestry, Camembert village, Swiss Normandy, lots of chateaux, and Paris only two hours away. It¡¯s great for food, cider and wine. Our holiday houses offer relaxation away from it all as well, with large gardens and comfortable rooms, a home from home.
